Parasite Man is the first installment of World Influential’s LGBTQ‑focused content series, created in collaboration with the Education for Development Foundation (EDF) in Thailand. The project highlights two urgent social issues:
Many young people in rural Thailand, like Somchai, rely on scholarships to overcome poverty and access schooling.
International same‑sex couples continue to face spousal visa restrictions, even where marriage equality is legally recognized.
By blending entertainment with advocacy, Parasite Man raises awareness of social challenges and shows how love and equality transcend borders. The project fosters cross‑cultural dialogue and inspires audiences to support inclusion.
Community participation is integrated through donation‑based auditions for actors and cultural performances for extras. Your contributions directly support EDF’s educational programs, LGBTQ+ advocacy, and the production of Parasite Man as a creative platform for social change.
